Executive Director / Head of Design, Common Capabilities
Led an international team of 20+ for the “Common Capabilities” platform across Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) - re-usable products enabling the business to complete mission critical work throughout over 40MM workflows per year. Portfolio included task and workflow management, content and document management, asset transfers and servicing, document delivery and E-signature. Duties include team hiring and management, aligning stakeholders to create strategy and roadmaps, creating user-centered solutions and executing delivery for business impact.

IBM
Executive Design Consultant, IBM Cloud
Worked with marketing, sales and business leadership to create a new E2E model for customer acquisition to be more human-centered, data-driven, and outcome focused. Led multiple teams including the ‘First of a Kind”, US Open and Instana, refining organizational structure, implementing user research and testing, and integrating the process, products and platforms to create a unified experience for customers.

Cognizant
Head of Design, North America - Insight, Strategy & Design
Led the North American Design practice for Cognizant’s Innovation, Strategy & Design team of 20+ which included hiring, establishing methodology, business development, overseeing work and integration of acquisitions. Worked with diverse client base including Pepsi, TIAA and Bayer/Monsanto identifying opportunities for new growth products and services through Design Thinking. New initiatives were prototyped, piloted and iteratively scaled for enterprise business leveraging technologies such as AI, machine learning and natural language generation.

IBM (Contractor, Havas Worldwide)

Executive Design Director - Havas Worldwide
Worked full-time on site at IBM Studio acting as Design lead representing Havas with IBM Studio leadership. Oversaw a team of 15+ UX Designers from Havas that were embedded into IBM scrum teams.

Product Owner - IBM Sprout (Now Carbon Design System)
Led multi-disciplinary team working with IBM Studio leadership and Global Brand leadership to conceive and create IBM’s first full-stack component design system to unify User Experience and development. Led agile scrum team in IBM Studio to develop a long-term strategy, implementation framework, success metrics, team and organizational structure, governance model and MVP for open-source library.

Product Owner - IBM Voices
Led agile team to conceive and implement product that analyzed social content and data to create experiences for content discovery and business insight. Voices presented the ‘best’ performing content through the creation of a consistent metric and algorithm allowing IBM to bring transparency to how the market was really responding to their efforts. Voices led a stream of innovation including the first data-driven, mobile and responsive patterns, and development of first API in the IBM Studio.

Chief Design Officer (Consultant)
Served as Chief Design Officer to create the Product Design, User Experience and Brand for the first launch of a job platform focused on college graduates. The product used behavioral assessment exercises that created psycho-graphic profiles in order to create more meaningful matches between candidates and employers
